Mariano Muñiz
Founder & Managing Partner
With over 30 years of experience in investment banking and M&A, Mariano has led over 40 transactions across diverse industries. His expertise in private capital, company valuation, and acquisitions has enabled him to successfully guide clients through strategic growth opportunities. Before founding Muñiz Consultores, he held senior positions at leading financial institutions in Mexico.
He holds an Executive Management degree from IPADE (AD2) and a degree in Economics from ITAM.
Monica Horvilleur
Partner, Valuation & Tax Advisory
Monica specializes in business valuation and financial modeling, with deep expertise in private equity and acquisitions. She has been involved in over 20 transactions, leveraging her knowledge in both tax and finance to provide a strategic advantage for her clients. Her background includes roles at Chévez, Ruiz, Zamarripa, a tax consulting firm, and in the M&A teams of a leading Mexican bank.
She holds an Accounting degree from ITAM and a Fintech program certification from ITAM.

With over 30 years of experience in banking and risk management, Gustavo has led key risk initiatives across Latin America. His expertise in credit analysis, corporate finance, and restructuring has enabled him to successfully manage and navigate complex portfolios for major companies. Before his departure from Bank of America, he held senior positions, including Deputy General Risk Officer for Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, and Peru.
He holds an MBA from McGill University and a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
